Ontario PNP Invites 754 Candidates in Targeted Occupations

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) recently invited 754 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination.

The applicants who received the Notifications of Interest (NOIs) had registered their profiles in the Express Entry system.

They had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 463 and 467 points.

Human Capital Priorities Stream

The candidates invited by OINP were eligible for the Express Entry’s Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream.

In the latest draw, the OINP invited candidates if their occupation matched any of the following ten occupations under the National Occupational Classification (NOC) list:

These occupations were similar to the previous HCP draw held on February 2.

Eligibility for the Draw

The Human Capital Priorities Stream is designed for candidates who want to work in Ontario and have the skills required to establish themselves in the province.

To qualify for this, the applicants must:

  • Have their profile under the Express Entry System.
  • Be eligible for either the FSW program or CEC.
  • Show English proficiency with a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7.
  • Intend to live and work in Ontario.
  • Provide proof of funds for settlement.
  • Score the required CRS points as set by the draw.

 After receiving the NOI, the candidate has 45 days to apply for the provincial nomination. It can be done either by the applicant or their representative online.
