Key Highlights:
Canada is a beautiful and highly developed country that invites the highest number of immigrants every year. To apply for a permanent residence, the interested candidates must apply under either Express Entry or through provincial nominee programs.
Earlier this week, the Canadian government extended its travel restrictions on flights from India till August 21, 2021. The restrictions were set in place due to the increasing number of Covid positive cases in India.
While Canada is easing restrictions on travel from other countries, it has been extending the restrictions which were first imposed on April 22 of this year.
While the restriction is on travellers from India, it is hurting the Canadian economy, too, as Indians make up over 20% of all immigrants in the country.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program recently invited 1,031 Express Entry candidates for a provincial nomination under the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream.

The latest CEC-only draw was held on July 22 and invited 4,500 immigration candidates with a CRS cut-off score of 357 points.
