From time to time, SINP invites Canada immigration hopefuls that have registered their profile in the SINP’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system. The selection of EOIs is occupation-based, ensuring that -

  • Nominees with good employment prospects in Saskatchewan are selected, and
  • SINP nominations don’t exceed the employment demand in the local labour market.

Generally, SINP selections take place twice in a month. However, no SINP draw was held in June 2022. The previous draw by Saskatchewan PNP was on May 5, 2022.

How many points needed to register with Saskatchewan PNP?

A minimum of 60 out of a total 110 points available must be scored to be able to register an EOI with the SINP for being considered for Saskatchewan Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand. Factors assessed - education and training, skilled work experience, language ability, age, connection to Saskatchewan labour market, and adaptability.

What is Saskatchewan Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand?

Saskatchewan Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand categories are for those who have education and work experience in an occupation in high demand in the Saskatchewan labour market. While the SINP’s Express Entry category is linked with the federal Express Entry system, the Occupations In-Demand category runs independently.

Am I eligible for Saskatchewan Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand?

To be eligible for Saskatchewan’s Express Entry or Occupations In-Demand, your occupation must be on Canada’s National Occupational Classification (NOC) under either -

  • NOC 0 (zero): Management jobs,
  • NOC A: Professional jobs requiring a university degree, or
