Saskatchewan PNP Invites 279 Candidates in Latest Draw

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) recently held a new Expression of Interest (EOI) draw, inviting a total of 279 immigration candidates under two streams.

Eligibility for Invitation

The EOIs were issued to candidates who are eligible for a provincial nomination under the international Skilled Worker category.

Under this, 146 candidates were invited under the province Express Entry subcategory, and 133 were nominated under the Occupations in-Demand subcategory.

Regardless of what stream they were in, the candidates had to have a minimum EOI score of 70 points. Also, they needed to have Educational Credential Assessments (ECA).

Also, they needed to have relevant work experience in any of the 58 in-demand occupations.

Express Entry Subcategory

The Express Entry Subcategory is an enhanced form of PNP that is linked to the IRCC’s Express Entry System.

Candidates who have an Express Entry profile must also create an EOI profile for the province to qualify for nomination.

Occupations In-Demand Subcategory

The Occupations In-Demand Subcategory is a basic PNP available to candidates who have not created an Express Entry profile.

It is for skilled professionals who have experience in occupations that are currently in-demand but do not have a job offer from a Saskatchewan employer.
