Saskatchewan invites 576 new immigration candidates through the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand streams.

The new SINP draw was held on 17 December 2020 to invite candidates to apply for provincial nomination. It would subsequently lead them to Canadian permanent residency.

The SINP International Skilled Worker Category

There were two subcategories chosen under the SNIP International Skilled Worker category.

  • SNIP Express Entry
  • SNIP Occupations In-Demand

Candidates who were selected had work experience in select occupations.

SNIP Express Entry Subcategory

A total of 190 candidates were selected to receive ITAs from the Express Entry subcategory.

All candidates required a minimum of Expression of Interest (EOI) score of 71 to be considered.

SNIP Occupations In-Demand Subcategory

A total of 386 ITAs were issued to selected candidates under the Occupations In-Demand subcategory.

A minimum of EOI scores of seventy-one (71) was required by all candidates to qualify.

Expression of Interest Scores

The minimum scores are a provincial requirement and not the Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) cutoff. All the selected candidates also had their Educational Credential Assessment reports.

EOI system is administered by SINP to select candidates for the regional labour market. They are responsible for building and maintaining their life within the province and showcase their age, education, work experience, language skills, and connections to Saskatchewan.

Occupations Under Consideration

All the candidates invited in this Saskatchewan PNP draw required to have work experience in any one of the 89 occupations.

Visit the government website here to find out the occupations that were included in the draw.
