Saskatchewan Invites 642 in Targeted Country-Specific Draws

Published on : August 17, 2023

Saskatchewan is among Canada’s 9 provinces and 2 territories part of the Provincial Nominee Program. A nomination under Canadian PNP is a fast-tracked way to get permanent residency in Canada.

On August 16, 2023, Saskatchewan issued invitations under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) of Canada. Saskatchewan PNP is also known as the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

There were 6 separate draws held within the same day. While 3 draws were held under the Saskatchewan Express Entry route, the other 3 were for applicants eligible for the Occupations-in- Demand SINP pathway.

Of these, 2 SINP draws were specifically targeted at those applying from India. As per Saskatchewan PNP, the selection “is supporting a recruitment mission to India to connect qualified candidates with labour market opportunities.”

Occupations selected have been mentioned as per their 5-digit new job codes based on the latest National Occupational Classification (NOC) of Canada.
