For an Express Entry candidate to be eligible for an invitation from Ontario PNP, they must meet the criteria of one of Ontario’s Express Entry streams. Ontario PNP is officially referred to as the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

Those selected in OINP Express Entry draws are issued a NOI in their IRCC Online account. Their application must be submitted within 45 days of receiving the notification.

What is Ontario PNP Human Capital Priorities immigration stream?

Through the Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream, you can live and work in Ontario permanently if you are a skilled foreign worker with the right -

  • Education
  • Language abilities
  • Skilled work experience.

To be eligible to be considered by Ontario PNP, you must have a valid Express Entry profile and have expressed an interest in settling in Ontario as a permanent resident.

An Express Entry candidate nominated under the PNP has an improved chance of receiving an ITA from IRCC. The highest-ranked Express Entry candidates are invited by IRCC to submit their complete applications for Canadian permanent residence. A PNP nomination is worth CRS 600 in itself and guarantees an ITA from IRCC.
