The Canadian province of Manitoba recently invited 243 immigration candidates to apply for a nomination through the Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program (MPNP) draw.
The province periodically issues Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to hopeful immigrants for a nomination through the three MPNP streams:
The MPNP requires applicants under both the Skilled Worker streams to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile. Here are the results of the recent draw.

The Manitoban government has various immigration pathways dedicated to attracting foreign talent to settle in the province.
While Canadian provinces and territories do not have the authority to grant permanent residence status to immigrants, they assist skilled candidates by awarding nominations.
Candidates hoping to receive a provincial nomination must first register an EOI with the MPNP.

The candidates have to prove their connection to the province either by close relatives, work experience in Manitoba or by gaining an invitation through one of its Strategic Recruitment Initiatives.
