Manitoba and Alberta Issue Provincial Nomination Invitations in March 2025

In recent provincial immigration updates, Manitoba and Alberta have extended invitations to candidates through their respective Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs).

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) Draws

Between February 28 and March 7, 2025, Manitoba conducted draws under two streams:

  1. Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream: On March 6, 98 candidates were invited, with the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 861 points.
  2. Skilled Worker Overseas Stream: On the same day, 13 candidates received invitations, with the minimum score set at 724. This draw targeted profiles directly invited by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative.

In total, 111 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued, including 27 to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) Draws

Alberta held multiple draws between February 7 and March 7, 2025, across various streams:

Notably, the Dedicated Health Care Pathway offers two intake options: one aligned with Express Entry (enhanced) and another non-Express Entry. Candidates not eligible for the Alberta Express Entry stream but meeting all other requirements for the Dedicated Health Care Pathway can apply through the non-Express Entry intake.
