The second round of Express Entry invitations this month was held by IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) for the federal government of Canada.
On April 26, 2023, Canada invited another 3,500 candidates to submit their Canadian permanent residence applications through Express Entry, an online system. The latest Express Entry draw is the 11th to be held in 2023 so far. Altogether, 7,000 invitations to apply (ITAs) were sent out in the 2 draws held in April 2023.
The minimum score cut-off - as per the 1,200-point Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) - was that of CRS 483 on April 26, and CRS 486 on April 12, 2023. While the CRS score fell 3 points, the total number of ITAs issued remained the same.
Previously, March 2023 had created history for IRCC.

A tie-breaking rule of April 22, 2023 19:46:58 UTC was applied. Generally, a tie-breaking rule is applied by IRCC to Express Entry draws. In case of multiple profiles having the required minimum CRS score for an ITA in a specific EE draw, the cut-off will be based on when they had submitted their profile to the Express Entry system.

Those invited are given 60 days for submitting their complete Canada PR applications to IRCC. An application for a Canada PR visa by Express Entry can only be submitted after an invitation by IRCC.

The basis stepwise process to get PR in Canada by Express Entry -
STEP 1: Confirm your eligibility.
You must meet the minimum requirements of the program (FSWP, FSTP, or CEC) that you want to immigrate under.
STEP 2: Check your projected CRS score.
Answer a few questions on an online CRS calculator to know your chances of getting an invitation by IRCC. The higher your CRS, the better your chances.
STEP 3: Get your documentation together.
Keep in mind that you will require documents at 2 different stages -

STEP 4: Fill out Express Entry profile online.
If you score the required 67 points, your profile will be entered into the IRCC pool of candidates and allotted a CRS score.
