Canada holds the 10th Express Entry draw of the year. With the latest round of invitations, 22,240 invitations to apply have been sent out so far in 2024.
On March 12, 2024, the federal government of Canada held another draw under the Express Entry system with 2,850 invitations issued. As it was a general draw, no program or category was specifically targeted. Minimum score requirement was CRS 525.
The latest Express Entry Draw number 288 was held on March 12, 2024 at 15:58:07 UTC.
2,850 Canadian immigration hopefuls received invitations to apply for their Canada PR visa.
CRS 525 was the score of the lowest-ranked candidate who got an invitation. This score is as per the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
EE draws are held by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Profiles created at an earlier date are given priority over those entered in the Express Entry pool at a later date. If more than one candidate has the lowest required score, the cut-off will be decided by the “date and time" of online submission of Express Entry profile.
The tie-breaking rule applied in the latest draw was that of March 12, 2024 at 15:56:42 UTC.

IRCC has a processing standard of within 6 months from the date of application submission.

110,770 will receive their Canada PR visas by Express Entry in 2024.
485,000 will get Canada PR in 2024. Of these, around 23% will be through Express Entry.
